Icon Stunterz

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows who the riders are that are in the Icon product line catalog for 2003. Icon is a street apparrel company that is sold through Parts Unlimited. The riders have some great stunt pics in the catalog and they are all obviously wearing Icon gear, but you can't see any of their faces and there are no stickers on any of the bikes. Itz pretty cool to see a big company like Icon endorsing the sport.

yeah too bad they arent recognizing us!

you know you would figure that if someone wanted to make a product targeting stuntriders, that the first thing they would do is give some of us some gear....

ive tried to contact them a few times to no avail....

look at alpinestars, rooted in MotoX and racing, they support a few guys, and are designing some new stuff aimed at stunters

why can icon do that?

Icon has given some gloves & stuff to some local San Diego stunt teams, but if you are looking for an extreme apparel/gear company who is supporting stunters, Speedrag is the one. The market we are targeting is mostly stunters and guys who dont want to look like walking billboards. Stunt riders sponsored so far include DTE, Dan Jackson, Darius, Capt Insano (Dustin from Phoenix), Jason Britton, So Cal Elite, StreetDreemz, and are still talking to some more nationally known stunt teams for 2003. Not to mention we are going to be a sponsor of the XSBA for 03. So there is someone out ther supporting stunters. I still have some support levels left for next year as well. E-mail me if interested.

Still finalizing the deal, so not at liberty to discuss anything. Always like to work with Clearchannel whenever possible, they always did me right when I worked for LBZ. Since we working with and targeting stunters now, its just a natural progression to sponsor the XSBA, and show our support for stunting in general.

I wasn't looking for the company. Icon is supporting these stunterz. Icon's sales rep gave my store the catalog and went over the line, but he didn't know who the riders were in the catalog. Icon fully supports these stunterz, I was just curious as who the riders were........

Yeah, I guess it is possible that they are just a couple of people that Icon just paid. Anyway, I saw some previews at the movies last night for an upcoming movie called "Biker Boyz", with Laurence Fishburne. Looks like there were LOTS of trix and all the bikes had kick *** paint jobs and were flawless. Pretty much looked like Fast and the Furious, only with sportbikes. I wonder who did the stuntz in that movie???

Also in the icon catalog are Ryan & Todd from So Cal Elite, which is funny because soon after that photo shoot So Cal Elite picked up Speedrag as a sponsor. And those kick-*** paint jobs were done by Color Zone in Huntington Beach, CA. They also paint Jason Britton's bikes and helmets.

ICON is manufactured by THOR motor-cross gear...Heared this straight from the Parts Unlimited Rep who has been hooking us up with sponsors...He's acctually still working on a deal with Icon for us right now...I use to be sponsored by Thor back in my MX days ,and they were preety easy to pick up , so hope Icon will be the same...
