what are the disadvantages it give you and advantages want to know wether to spend the money or not and what its gonna do for me help a brotha out

Most people just like stock, however if you go aftermarket most people agree that Uni/Twin Air style is good for dirt and K&N style is good for street. Im rockin K&N on both my fiddies and they work great (I ride mainly street and once in a while a little dirt).

 

if you stunt keep it stock your bike will make more torque

if you are a w.o.t person then get an aftermarket filter because it don't do **** but give you a tiny bit on top but nothing down low

trust me don't touch you air box and carb leave it stock

torque is your friend while stunting

 

no it doesnt take away torque. you just have to play with the needle setting in your carb. when you get rid of the gay *** black box raise your needle a setting or two and adjust the air screw on your carb. also go with the uni. although you may mainly ride street if you want to go in the dirt you can, the k&n gets dirty to quick. it does clean it up a hell of alot. I think weedracer needs to come to school and let me teach him on how to adjust a carb.

I done seen and tested every damn option you can do to a fiddy engine

and on a stock 50cc any mod done to the air box only gains top end and takes away from the bottom

go ahead take it to a dyno and see for your self

 

hey weed anyone gay enough to say take a fiddy to a dyno shouldn't even be able to post on here. thats like taking a 84 yugo to the dragstrip!!
adam you can run a uni and keep torque. like i said you just have to play with your needle setting and your air screw it takes a few but it is very easy. this is the same guy throwing up some lame **** of him riding circles with a rear hand brake and still coming off the back. not to mention the lame as music.

i have a uni and i agree with weed it does take away from your bottom end, but not much.....

 

here is a pick of a uni filter 7/8" to 1" opening for a stock carb. $15 all day anywhere you look. worth the money
