some 50 questions from a newb...
i am thinking about buying a CRF50 and i got some questions (keep in mind i am a newb)...
1. do i need to modify the suspension since the weight limit is like 90lbs?
2. any mods needed for stunting besides street tires?
3. is getting the extended warranty worth it?
4. can these things take a beating?
5. what should i look for in a used 50?
thanks fellas.

Re: some 50 questions from a newb...
You can put in the spring with basic tools in about half an hour the first time. Tehre's a tutorial on the M50M (click on my banner to get to the site) website for it. Honda offers an extended warranty for about $300..decide if it's worth it to you. You can probably get anotehr motor off ebay for less though.
Neutral all the way down, 3 gears up, automatic clutch (just shift, no clutch lever).

1. do i need to modify the suspension since the weight limit is like 90lbs? Only if you plan on jumping it over 4 feet in the air.
2. any mods needed for stunting besides street tires?Bar Kit, foot pegs, rear hand brake.
3. is getting the extended warranty worth it? hell no
4. can these things take a beating? from you and no one else. Don't let anyone else ride your fiddy cause eventually they will crash and you will be pissed
5. what should i look for in a used 50?Do not buy a used fiddy unless its under 700.00. thats like having sex with a ****, everythings too loose. I hope this helps you in your quest for a new fiddy.
