Well i was at a friends house last night and we watched fiddy nuts. He talked me into racing dirt with him next weekend. At the moment my fiddy is all street. Mods are street tires, and big bars and thats it. Now I'll be racing in the stock class and it says stock suspension, does that usually mean stock springs and all or do most races allow stiffer springs? I'm thinking I probably need some springs if i'm gonna be jumpin in these races. Anything else I need or should know. Never been to a race before and just kinda wondering what to expect etc...

 

Hehe, i went to my first race, thinking i was going to do good, jump the jumps. Then it hits you when your at the line. Dont get me wrong its one of the best times i had on my fiddy, but damn them jumps get a lot bigger Have fun bro

 

Eh the track were racing on is also used for 125 mx. So the jumps aren't gonna get much air for a fiddy, especially a stocker like mine. Best I could hope for was hoppin the doubles but still stiff springs might help...

 

you have to run stock springs. the only thing you can have is a barkit so their a little easier to ride. after the bars you get nothing

I think you should call the track and ask.


down here i think you can have a big bar kit, front and rear HD springs and that is about it.
