how hard

i'm going to put some hd springs and 50cc racing bushings into my stock 03' xr50 forks.

any tips or warnings from anyone?

carefull with punching the pin out of the collar it may crack (mine did) and remember the springs sort of unscrew off the end peiced they don't slip on and off you gotta twist them off. Other then that pretty painless.

Check out the Instructions from two bros, it will make life a lot easier.

Fork Springs -

Use a punch tool to knock the pins out when you change your bushings. It works very well.

One of the local bike shops had Applied Racing and 5-0 fork springs for $59.99 so I just ordered Sik 50 springs off of ebay for $39.95

you shoulve got the applied springs, they come with the end tabs, so you dont have to dick around with taking the stockers off. i've heard it can be a pain in the ***.

yeah those pins can be a pain in the *** too. if you do fool with the pins make sure you got the right sized punch, or you will end up cracking it. i cracked mine a little bit, but it still works.

i suppose nobody remembers what size punch is needed?
