Sdg Mini

Has anyone tried an SDG mini or heard anything good or bad about them? I was thinking about selling my XR50 to my bro to get one. Thanks for the help!

Re: Sdg Mini

If I had had 2 grand to drop all at once on my fiddy I would have gone on ebay got a feel for the market and bought a HONDA that had already been modded out. Then you get the best of both worlds.

But I bought mine used it was mint 2 tanks of gas throught it by a 6 year old. I then bought stuff off ebay, used usually or just really cheap new stuff, and I've got a pretty sweet lil bike for what a new one would have cost me.

joker machine tall boy bars and clamp
BBK springs front & rear
Sano +1 chromoly legs with disk brake and deralin bushing
CRF 150 pegs
+1 foldable shifter
Modified k&n crakcase breather (air filter) $8 you can't beat that
Krylon fusion black plastic, with white # plates and some skin industires stickers

I've got about 1400 in the bike total.

I don't think that I would buy a SDG for the money, I'd rather have a KLX or DRZ 110

Re: Sdg Mini

I dunno about the sdg personally but I had to work on my buddies extreme107 and it was terrible. everything seemed kinda poorly made. they run a fair racing series locally that has an extreme 50cc class and they let the 107's in it. haven't seen one podium yet always an xr/crf. on the pro side though you don't really have to put to much more on it... it's pretty much all done. but thats part of what I liked about building my fiddy. I started out with a 50cc bike built for an 88lb rider now its an 88cc thats gettin closer to the 50 mph mark. just my
