Plz Help: Need expert fiddy advice

I think I am going to buy the Pep Boys 50cc dirtbike for $399. special... for the Sherman fiddy ride this Saturday.

Anybody has any idea how that Pep 50cc runs?
Top speed is 25 to 28 mph.. I think these are the Chinese Jineynejalf (sp?) motor dirtbikes. Any opinion or advice would be greatly appreciated.

and the XR50 unmod is 30 mph... according to D and S Salesman.

or

Does Anyone here has the Pep Boys connection?

Thank you for reading this post.. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
James

Re: Plz Help: Need expert fiddy advice

Sup Man, I Was Actually Gonna Post Something Like This But Never Got Around To It. I Got A Buddy That Wants To Do The Ride, And Was Thinking Of Just Buying The Pepboys 50cc Dirt Bike. I Went Up To Pepboys And Checked It Out.

For What Ur Paying, Its Not Bad At All. Its Body Size Is Acutally Bigger Then A Regular Fiddy...its More Like A 100cc Body Type....as For Adding Any Mods, I Dont Think You Would Need A Hd Spring, Or Big Bar Kit. My Legs Fit Fine. You Could Probably Find Parts For It At Local Bike Shops, But Then Again You Might Not Since Its A Weird Brand. If Your Planning On Stunting It And Phucking $#!t Up, Then I Would Maybe Save Up And Invest On A Honda Xr50...they Are Ment To Last And Have Many Upgrades.

Oh One More Thing, Since The Bike Is So Big, I Would Also Consider Going With A 90 Cc, Just Cuz Its More Weight You Got To Throw Around. I Personally Havent Ridden On Of The Pepboy Ones, So I Dont Know How It Handles.

Yo pepboys **** is garbage bro. This kid I know buys them pocket bikes 2 at a clip cause they get destroyed. Im assuming this dirtbike your talkin about is no different (same manufacture) go get yourself a fiddy so u can hang with the big boys.

I believe that Pep Boys 49cc is a chinese copy of the Original Honda Z50.

How many MPH does the z50 go?

Re: Plz Help: Need expert fiddy advice

The old z50 has point ignition so it really does not have a rev limiter. I clocked it with the gps and it did 34,35,36 on different days. Going down a bridge at bike week, I hit 40. It was reving so high I thought it was going to take my nuts off.
