Cdi motors what years??

Just need to know when they started putting them in fiddyz. A guy has a 93 z50 motor for sale, just need to know if I can use it in my crf50.

yes that motor will work. the shift pattern is 3 down though

What year did they start shifting up? Can you convert it to shift up?

not sure the exact year, but all it takes is a new shift drum.

92 and up should be standard shift pattern

i rode a newer one that was 3 down. ask silversurfer. he would know for sure.
