Re: disc brakes

I run them on my dirt jumper front and back. they grab like a mother F***er!

But if your thinking of running a rear disk for stunting i think its a bad idea. I was wheeling my jumper the other week and riding on my rear for a little while and i heated my pad up pretty bad and it started stinkin and lost a lot of braking power. the rear disk sucks for stunting. you cant glide on them for too long to balance a wheelie out. youll just rip through pads like nothing.

Re: disc brakes

the reeg disc caliper and rotor use the same mounting as a mountain bike disc, the only tough part would be adapting the rotor to the hub

ohh, ohhh, and avid mechanical on a fifty would be marvelous, they own for power and longevity
