the Applied ones bend just like the fast50's and red baron ones. They all seem the same to me. Has anyone ever found one that actually folds and doesnt bend?

Re: Deal on a shifter lever....

My Fast50s shifter has been on my bike sine the day I got my bike, it folds, and it hasnt gotten even a ding in it. and trust me Im not the best rider ever . One time I was doin an uphill wheelie wit 2 of my frinds on big bikes, I was in the middle, unfortunatly I was the 1 that had the tree strait infront of him after we could see over the hill . didnt have enough time to set the weelie down, tree clipped my left grip, my bike took over from then and flew me and the bike onto the sidewalk into the street, fortunately no cars , I lowsided and went down. I picked up my bike, which was laying down on the shifter side, with it folded up nicely, and all the dammage was the rubber tip got shredded a bit. good for my money! laterz

The Applied shifter looks identical to that one but for $10.

I just picked up a Moose Racing Shifter and its sturdy and loaded with springs, that **** isnt going to bend anytime soon. It was only like 25 bucks too, at a local Honda Dealer.
