What kinda difference do street tires make?

I've been practicing with the stock knobbies and I have trouble keeping my side to side balance. Front to rear is ok but it seems like i'm working really hard on side to side and I can't go straight for anything I always kind go side to side. Also I can stoppie but not endo, tire usually locks up if i brake any harder. I know street tires would help with the endos but how about the side to side balance? Do they really make that much a difference?

Well i have rear brake down fine I learned on a 400ex and can wheelie that thing for days. I have yet to loop the 50 and i've had to save myself plenty of times with the rear brake. So hopefully these tires will help with the side to side then i'll be set. Does the qualilty of tires really matter that much on these little fiddys? I've seen some from cheng sin for like $10 a piece then there are the pirellis that are like $25 a pop, are the more expensive ones that much better for what we use them for?

you roll an endo out...a stoppie is getting the rear up and coming to a stop.
