Change gearing??

Change gearing??

I know there is info on here but i searched and got a lot for big bikes.. soo ill ask again. Should i change the gearing up or just leave it like it is???

More speed = Bigger front/Smaller rear
More torque/acceration/less speed -Smaller front/Bigger rear.

terrel yo dude go to the honda shop get 2 ching shen tires 3.0 and a uni or kn filter it will wake your bike up quit a bit for under 40 bucks dont change gears on a stock motor you will lose to much somewere

Ive ridden other mini bikes and a xr/z 50 have the best stock gearing.

I went up 2 teeth on the rear didnt hurt topend or nothing some how it out runs alot of 50s. But helps in 2nd gear for tight circles.

I also went up two on the rear.......it just helps.

Curtis did it way back when so I tried it and stock blows. Two up.



Also - 2.75 is recominded.......that is want most around here use, better for circles.

If you went up on the back the motor will probably be able to pull harder and rev up higher in 3rd gear.
