does anyone stunt em? im lookin to get a crf250 and wanted to know if it is stuntworthy? i figured id post it here because lots of people stunt the bigger dirt bikes too. thanks for any advice.

 

i know my cr250 was a bitch if you werent careful when wheelying, everytime its been asked people just say get a 4 stroke.....


you just gonna stunt, or are you really gonna ride the thing for what its made for? if youre just stuntin, id go with somethin cheaper. try putting this in the big bike forum, youll get more help

 

ttr125 is my big dirtbike of choice to stunt...its smooooth

i like to stay away from those 2 strokes for pure stuntin

 

the crf230 is 4 stroke and i was wanting something with a little more power than the ttr125.

 

just curious, why do you need more power than a ttr125?
i can understand if you want to do tricks AND race it or jump stuff, but for just tricks, you don't need that much power.

 

i love my new drz 110...lots of power and leg room for my 6ft 2in ***.......

 

Why would u buy a freakign cr250 to stunt. Sorry dude but thats the dumbest thing ive heard. I mean maybe a crf450 to stunt or supermotard, but the 2 stroke wont be that fun to stunt. You will prolly foul plugs from not hitting the powerand, its loud, sucks gas, and you cant drive it down to the gas station to fill it up. I wouldnt buy a 4 stroke mxbike but I also wouldnt buy a crf450 just to stunt. Im not saying they are fun to wheely, but 100ft jumps are even funner.

 

no bro, not the cr250, the crF250 or a crF230. i know that two strokes suck for stunting. i was wondering how those bigger bikes are for stunting.

For the people that think you cant stunt on a 2 stroke, you're wrong. Anyone can wheelie a 2 stroke just as easy as a 4, you just have to get used to the powerband and learn throttle control. After that, it's easy. FWIW i was riding long 3rd and 4th gear wheelies on my 1972 yamaha enduro 100cc 2 stroke with knobbie tires. I wasnt even using the clutch to pull it up.

 

I'm not talking wheelies.. I'm talking highchairs, circles, etc
