Disc Brakes

Any opinions on these? Who thinks they are worth it? And what's a good brand to get....

Re: Disc Brakes

I've got the sano kit with the chromoly +1's bushings and disk brake. There is a ton more braking power with the disks, but I don't really need it. Mine is a stock bore so its not that fast. The brake looks pimp though. I'm no stoppie expert but I'm sure you could pull them up at top speed with disk brake (or do a face plant). The way the sano kit is put together is cool, you use the stock hub, pull out the shoes, slide the adaptor in the hub which locks down, the caliper is mounted onto the fork leg. the only bad thing is I can't go back to drums and use my +1's.

I have them on my dirt jumper, they have amazing stoping power but i say there pointless for street/stunt riding.

I have the +1's with disc brake. I say don't waste your $$$. The stock one works fine. Yes, it's overkill and it looks cool. If I had to do it over I would have spent the $$$ on something else, like new billet rims for $400 or less. Now, that looks pimp!

Re: Disc Brakes

Just wondering, it would seem to me it would be easier to do stoppies with discs since ya can't really feather the stock ones too much... or maybe it's just me.. guess I'll just practice them more...
