Re: Rear pegs

I got fed up with trying to find the axle so on the left side i used the chain guard hole drilled it to size and then matched it with the right side ... drilled it out in the same location just above the axle... work good... i think i used 1/2 from home depot for nuts and bolts

I've heard it can be tough to find pegs to fit on the axle. Thanks for the tip!

Re: Rear pegs

no just the opposite its hard to find the axle to fit the longer length you'll need plus it's like 12 or 14 mm which is a bitch to find

Re: Rear pegs

ive got pegs mounted to my rear axle. i had to ditch the stock chain tensioners so i modified the pegs to serve as tensioners also. i think that you need the 14mm axle sized pegs and i grinded a flat spot on the peg down by the hole the axle goes through then got a chasis bolt and grinded the non threaded end flat and welded the two together

the only prob is you will no longer be able to see the rear wheel alignment marks, so now i count the faces on the nuts as i tighten the chain.

good luck!

if i can get my lazy *** roommate to take a pic ill post it so you can see what im talkin about
