rear pegs?

rear pegs?

hey,

i have seen a couple pics of bikes with rear pegs. How are you guys installing them?

I just took the axel pegs off my bmx/freestyle bike . I drilled holes close to the axel and mounted them up. I know of some people getting a longer axel bolt and doing it that way.

yeah, i probably don't want to drill holes in my new baby;; you have any more info on the longer axles? like what they might be coming off?

heres an idea that im gonna try...

go to longs and buy the large diameter pegs. drill them out so the axle can slide through them..then when you go to tighten the nut on the axle all u need is 2 extensions that are longer then the pegs and you should be good to go..ill get some pics when i get it done....

I tried to use the axel pegs that way but my axel was not long enough to put the nut on after the pegs were installed. Thats why I just drilled holes in the frame. The axel bolt is metric and I was having a hard time finding a longer than stock one .
