Fiddy Questions

I've pretty much decided to get one, but I have some questions perhaps you guys can help with.

How big is everyone. At 6'3" 190, I don't want to destroy it.
(well, not just sittin on it anyway)

Stoppies? I saw one in this forum with a snapped stanchion already.

fork seals, shock seals blow out?

I realize it's a lil tike that cant take too much abuse, I just want to know what it will take.

Cool mods available? Pipe, ignition, anything mill or chassis related?

thanks in advance.

PS out of curiousity, how much power can you get out of the little mill?

I ride an 02 XR50R. I am 6ft at 175lbs. The front forks are not sealed. They use a regular spring and are dry. I have the big bars, street tires , removed the spark arrester in the pipe and raised the needle in the seat for more gas. I also did the heavy duty springs in both the front and the rear. I do not jump mine . only wheelies and stoppies. I am working on combos .
They are a blast to ride and once you get past the learning curve ( very painfull) you will be fine .

two bros offers a 124cc DOHC kit a/ carb and exhaust that puts out 18 hp. :helmet

they come stock with 3hp. you may want to consider a 70, taller guys fit on them a lot better. and you can get all the same mods.

Im 6 foot 175lbs

no fluid. You can roll a good 70-80 feet on a stock one.

It can take alot of abuse. you will bend stuff right and left with crashing. But its all easy to bend back and replace. Parts for a fiddy are DIRT cheap...

Im not done with teh page yet. But here is a list of some of the mods you can do with your fiddy. there are a TON of em. Wait till you see the list Im gonna post here!

2.5hp stock. with me on it its good for 34mph. My buddy weighs 130lbs and can get 41mph out of his.

With the 88cc big bore kit for $400 you can get 8.9hp out of em with double the torque at 9ft/lbs!!!

6'7" here, 240 lbs...
I actually ride a '99 Z50 instead of the XR model, I like the dual shocks in back, plus I think the Z will hold up better in the long run...

from the looks of the Z, the rear is suspended via springs only.

I believe the xr has the honda mono-style shock in the center. Is the honda shock dry too? And is the shock body threaded to allow adjusting of spring tension?

If you need to hide it, I have plenty of room in my garage..................Must leave the key in it, just in case I have to move it. Can't be pushing the damn thing around, right.
