Iwas out on my WR400 tonight. What a friggin riot. It is geared way down (-1 in the front) and wheelies in fifth gear with a little bounce while standing up. Lean back, cover the rear brake and ride that sucker till your arms hurt. :YEAH If you tried that on those D/S up there it just won't happen.
Bikefrk how is a CRF150 w/ street tires as a stunt bike? I want to be able to stunt a bigger bike w/ a clutch.

Free id Go XR100 Or TTR125. Those bikes are all turds, there 4 strokes, what do you expect Id take my 125 over any 4 stroke, except a CRF450. But Id take a YZ/KX/SX 250 over that anyday.

I dont need a lot of power, I prefer the 4 strokes, I just need something affordable, and damn near bullit proof, sorta like a full size fiddy. Did you see the video that 91 viempo & RQM made (256N 4) ? In that video thoes boys are doing awesome stunts on ttr's the crf 150 is suppose to be the Honda equivilent.
I don't need a lot of power, but I want a good wheelie bike w/ clutch.

Go for that TTR125. Slap some dual sport tires on it and stunt the hell out of it. DO NOT BUY A TWO STROKE FOR STUNTING AND PLAYING AROUND ON. Two strokes are for dirt riding and racing. They are high strung and you will be unhappy with the power delivery of one.

The CRF150 is a decent bike too. I was looking at that one for my wife.

Maybe you could get your wife geared up for some dirt riding and change her opinion of bikes. :YEAH

Re: who knows about the enduros?

Free, I was looking at crfs and ttrs too. The ttr is lighter and might be better for stunting. The crf is king of the 125-150 4 strokes. Its faster great front brakes but like i said its heavy. The crf does not have eletric start and one of the ttr models does. I think its the ttr 125LE. If you want pure street stuntin get the ttr with street tires, very bike.

Speaking off stunting little bikes. Does anyone have or have a friend that has a suzuki jr 80. I want a little bike,(not a fiddy) to put street tires on and stunt. I dont want any bigger or smaller though. They are 2 strokes but for such a little bike i wouldnt think that it has a nasty powerband. Someone here said dont stunt a 2 stroke but would a little 2 stroke be alright.

Two stroke power is like a light switch. On or off. No aftermarket for any bike out there except for the Honda line-up. First is the 50. Tons of aftermarket for it. The 70 is next. I am not sure about aftermarket bars and suspension for the CRF80.

Have you heard of a powervalve? I love my bike for stunting. The power kind rolls on, then hits. I would take a 2 stroke over a 4 stroke anyday, as long as it has a clutch. But your right, people do get sick of 2 stroke because they are to lazy to ride in the band and hold on when it hits. 2 stroke are more of a chalenge to ride because you have to keep them in the band (dont have to but is better). But its all personal preferance. To rock slow ****, you don't want a 2 stroke. I do take my x100 out to wheely around. But I also like going fast, so I usually ride my 125.

Re: who knows about the enduros?

For jumping you want a 2 stroke, you can do panic revs liek crazy and not hurt the bike.

Re: who knows about the enduros?

All video got taken over by 125. Here a old school 5th pinned board jump, got me 50 feet. Second ones are my 125. BBR makes stiffer springs for the 80 and 100 also, but I dont have them.

Re: who knows about the enduros?

Is the suspension good enough to hold up on those small jumps. Thanks

Re: who knows about the enduros?

I can bottem it out by jumping on it. STiff springs would make it alright. I have also seen a mod were they put a xr100 motor in a cr80 frame.

Re: who knows about the enduros?

defo cant stunt small two strokes.

i used to ride a kx65, and the pwer band is so sudden. basicly it automaticly wheelies before you hit the powerband.

it would work alrite if you shifted before the powerband? i used to do this when i was small. cos the power band was in the high revs on kx65

Re: who knows about the enduros?

Yea, small bore 2 strokes arent good for slow wheelies. I have to rev my 125 up some to get it to do wheelys. I would sudgest a TT-R125LE. Stiffer springs than a xr100 (the LE has stiffer than the the L), beefy clutch, and you cant mount yz80 forks up if you want.

xidium what are your feelings on the crf 150 as a stunt bike, I know that it is heavy, but dose it wheelie, and I want it to hold up to my abuse the way that my fiddy dose... (I am a Honda *****).
would the Honda build quality trump the weight saving of the TTR125le
91 viempo says that he wishes that he had gotten the Honda instead of the Yam.
