valve adjustment? 88cc

I just installed a 88cc kit on my stock 50 it says to adjust the valves how do i go about doing this

bring engine to top dead center compression and slip a .002" feeler gauge between the valve stem and the adjustment screws. tighten till there is a slight drag.
