I got my taillight zip tied to the subframe, you just want to make sure it's not gonna get ripped off when you loop a wheelie. Oh, and i have the regular bulb type of light and it just points down but you could still see it at night, it actualy lit up the whole back end of the bike. I think the led lights are supposed to be more where you can only see them from straight on, so those might be harder to mount. I doubt that made any sense, oh well.
