degreaser and brake cleaner will take care of that. you can get new racks.

 

gfg have you had any luck cleaning it yet?

 

when ur washing it put some old towels in there to soak up the grease

 

use the bleach and degreaser method. i did the same thing at my last rental with the washing machine and a bunch of dirt bike airfilters. i just loaded it up with bleach and the dish soap that "is tough on grease" and it was ready to go, oh yeah gotta have those towels handy.

Oh I picked up some Wheel cleaner with ACID (HF and H3PO4)!!!!!!!!!
Almost passed out from the fumes. My Apt smells like a gas station/chemical factory.

Damn this ranks up there with the dumbest things to do.

 

YEAH i FORGOT TO TELL YOU THAT :-)

BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO SPRAY IT ON AND LET IT SIT FOR AN HOUR AND GO BACK AND SPRAY SOME MORE ON.

THEN WHEN YOU'RE ALL DONE QUITE A FEW CYCLES OF BLEACH AND DETERGENT THROUGH IT.

I BET YOU'RE ABOUT NOW HUH

next time spray them down with degreaser and take them to the car wash.

Shes finally clean now, 6 days later and about 25 cycles (hey I don't pay water)
Goo Gone did the trick like nothin.

My apartment is starting to lose that gas station/chemical weapons smell now.

what goes in the dishwasher????? Yep, PLATES!!!!!! NOT fiddy parts, lol!!!!
