Studding the tires for ice riding Sunday.
Alright,got my bike setup for the ice.
On the front I have a Starcross,size 2.50x10. I have 180 ice screws in that tire.
On the rear is a Starcross, size 2.75x10. There is 144 screws in that one.
The screws are 3/8" long and specific for ice racing. $20 for 250.
It took about 2 hours total to do the job including taking the old tires off,mounting the two new tires,taking one off because I jacked up a tube and had to replace it.
I will update this tomorrow after we ride to let you know how they work.
