Re: fiddy on the airplane

Yea I was thinkin of doin that to my fiddy as well. When I go down to Dallas TX every summer it'd sure be nice to take the fiddy along. Hey you could say it's a prop and that it doesn't actually function, they'd probably let you check the bag and toss it underneath. If ya do, remember to take out the valve stems so you're tires don't explode/implode. Also might be a good idea to take the plastics with you on a carry on bag so they don't get cracked or bent during loading/unloading. Those guys can be pretty rough.

yall' make sure all the gas and oil are drained, because if they catch you guys with gas in it they'd probably charge you with a felony or something.....sounds like a cool idea though...i hate to drag on, but remember we live in a post 9-11 world....

shipping that ups will cost some cheddar and then you gotta ship it back
if your gonna ship it you do better putting it in a big crate with a bunch of other fiddys and shipping it motor-freight

Re: fiddy on the airplane

well unless you want to fly with some chickens, pigs or cows you could bring the fiddy, but not on a comercial airline.

Re: fiddy on the airplane

I say you just call the airline and talk to them that would be your best option. I do know that each bag can't weigh over a certain amount or you will gat charged more ,but you can have different bags weighing close to the max. I bet if it was takin apart you would be able to.
