does your fiddy like to eat pants?

maybe it's just because i suck, but on the rare occassion that i fall (sarcasm), i fall pretty hard. twice now i've gone down real hard and my right side pantleg managed to get ripped to hell (like 12" up on jeans!), i don't know if it got caught in the chain or not but it's kinda starting to get annoying. oh yeah and yesterday i finally looped a top-of-third wheelie (~30-35 mph), my hand felt like it burst into flames and i sprained my ankle but it's all good i still rode some more. i need to learn the rear brake so bad, pretty much the only reason i'll crash is because i loop it.

Pull your sock over your pant leg, it might look stupid but you will save your pants.

Re: does your fiddy like to eat pants?

What's happening is that your right pantleg is getting caught on the kickstarter. When you kick out your right leg it rips your pants. You can readjust your kick starter so it is fater back and wont snag pantlegs.

Re: does your fiddy like to eat pants?

I have been wearing thick pants when i ride because the little tike has claimed a few pairs. I don't have any, but i know carhartt makes pants. Might want to give those a shot.

Re: does your fiddy like to eat pants?

My right pant legs get caught on the kick starter all the time. I even thought about takin it off. My left pant legs get caught in front sprocket all the time too, even with the chain guard on. Now i have duct tape over the little gap between the chain guard and the engine side case.

Three pairs of pants and four shoelaces torn apart, all on the right side. I guess big pants and 50's don't mix.

Re: does your fiddy like to eat pants?

My kickstarter eats my pants, everytime i do a wheelie and start to lose it, i go to put my foot down and there they go about 12'' up the inside crease heh. But tonight was a good one, i just put on a gold renthal chain, friend and i out messin around. Just cruisin along, all of the sudden, dead stop, heh front sproket ate my pants and it was stuck for a while. I always saw people runnin there chains with no gaurds so i figured i could. Guess not, i think might use this plastic adhesive that makes spraypaint stick really good, and wont crack when it bends, spray on red and put a bunch of clear coat on it, so it looks decent and wont eat my pants either

Re: does your fiddy like to eat pants?

**** that was my fault, i meant to say left side. that's the side that has ripped twice, that's why i was saying it might've been the chain, but there was no theeth marks or grease.
