I have to slam the back brake to get it down too. Im sure its possible to do it smoother, but it would take a lotta practice and fallin on yer ***.

Re: 12 in a fiddy

I used to have to do that, then I got the 03 and adjusted the rear brake and also put some EBC pads on it. Now it is not as bad, also depends on your speed and the angle & length of your 12 bar.

FI - has it down right = and with little tapping of the rear - it pulls down back into a wheelie. But I still get caught up in it and it looks like I am 12n for the first time....LOL

Post up some pics.....

Me with the FI fiddy 12 bar..

EBC - yes, I buy them at Bates cycle center........for me they seem to work better than stock. But now I am wondering if they are wearing out my hub on my 02 fiddy. So I just bought a new set for it and will be putting them on tonight, if it is the same - meanin that I still have no brakes - then I will end up going back to stock Honda ones and then calling up EBC to bitch....LOL or ask for them to buy me a new hub....LOL

Either case tune in tomorrow to find out.....lol

Re: 12 in a fiddy

when i do it i get a rev limiter 2nd gear wheelie goin then go past the balance point and apply the brake slowly and slow down the whole time that you go back to 12 then when you hear the fender hit slam that bitch hard as you can and stand up adn throw your weight forward seems to work alright for me
