gear for circles

Been working on my circle wheelies, Ill get them about half way around, and then its like I get thrown the opposite way. Am I doing them too fast, too tight, or what? also what gear works the best for the circles? Thanks in advance for any help.

potential is a decent person
i know a lotta guys that do 1st gear, but i think big, 2nd gear circles are the way to learn, then gradually tighten them up and slow it down.

I learned them in First. A friend of mine who is really good told me to keep your throttle @ the same spot and use the brake and balance. I just put a 88cc big bore kit on and second is a lot easier now.

use 1st gear. it will help keep them tight.

you can do them in 2nd but 1st has more engine brake.

Looks like its gonna be first gear. I was doing them in second, was it the speed that was throwing me the other direction? it was like when I would get half way around it wanted to high side.

doing circles left bars should be cranked to the right and *** shifted to the right of the seat.. not having the bars messed me up when i ws getting them.
