Unhappy aight... whats wrong???

ok... I got a 02' XR50, completely stock. I think I need new fork bushings. The front wheel will shift about 1/2" to either side if you "rock" the top part of the tire by hand. The axle is tight and straight, looks like the forks shift a bit side to side. Also, if I hit the front brakes I can see the wheel move backwards on the brake side. It shifts a bit. It also appears my bars/forks go outta whack kinda a bit off a jump. The bars will be straight and you'll turn left or right slightly. Is it the bushings? Which one are better for me, I'm 6'2" and 240. I'm planning stiffer springs anyways. The (2) 14mm bolts are tight on the top of the triple, so is the axle. The play doesn't look like it's coming from wheel bearing, but I'm gonna double check that tomorrow. Any ideas? Thanks

the c-clips under the rubber boots probably popped out, mine do ALL the time it pisses me off. Pop them back in and it should tighten everything back up. Get Nylon bushings

Get delrin bushings made by DPM. They will last a lot longer than nylon, and work better. www.dpmmx.com
