Talking Got some new tires

Cheng Shin C907 Himax or somethin. They're 3" wide and they look pretty nice. Only $25 for the pair. Pics are here.

Jay Carnes will become famous soon enough
those look sweet - they a bitch to put on? I had a set of 2.5's that were harder to set the bead than my street bike tires.

Got 'em on in about 20 mins. Little dish soap goes a long way. When I say 20 mins, that includes taking off the wheels and puttin em back on the bike. They were pretty easy. Took 'em out for a few mins and they work pretty good. I'm gonna have to get used to wheelies, it'll lean alot easier now (my old tires were square). They also make a pretty loud screech when ya lock the tires up. Put a big grin on my face even though I was alone.

As far as price, the total was $35.98. It was $29 w/o shipping. I got these as a Christmas gift, my aunt said she got the only two in stock. They prolly only stock one set at a time since there aren't many people buyin them.

skelator, I used to have a nitro T-Maxx, I got rid of it for a street car. About two weeks after I had it I was driving it around in the school, hit a stick or somethin at close to 60 MPH and the thing flipped. It went about 2ft in the air and landed on the corner of a curb. I'm still tryin to get it runnin 2 months later.

That's my sh!tty battery powered Chevy Avalanche. It's actually pretty cool though. Has 4wd, Super Swampers, awesome suspension (it's really soft) and it's pretty fun rockcrawling with it. I did some custom work to it and locked the differentials. The thing rips! Pretty durable too, sunk it in my pool twice (sunk to the deep end) and I've sunk it in mud many times. Just gotta wait for it to dry out.

R6bbie, yes I can do circles, and yes it's alot easier now. There's alot more tire on the ground when you're spinnin around on the edge. It also makes it alot easier to start/stop a circle. I pulled a full circle in 2nd gear and just rode out and did a straight wheelie a few hundred yards no problem. I think with some more practice circles will be as easy as regular wheelies.
