Taking the baffle off/out??
I took it out and it felt like I lost a lot of 1st (rev'd high quick) and gained more in 2nd. Not sure bout 3rd. Anyone else notice a difference for better or worse, or is it all in my head??
heres a better idea. cut the spark arrestor off the end cap and bolt the end cap back on. frees it up a bit without loosin the torque. takin the whole thing out is just plain anoying. just my 2 cents
Rip that peice of **** end cap right off!! I did tat with my xr100 and u really gain power everywhere. Who needs it? Then u can save the endcap fro when you kneed it quite. And if u want im sure you could cut a metal disc the size of the muffler and then cut a whole you desired size and bolt it up to get the power/sound u want.
i have the spark arrester on my can but several friends have cut theirs out (leaving the endcap on), aside from sounding like ****, it doesn't seem to be any different. i have yet to notice any type of power difference before/after and compared to my bike. maybe w/ a bore kit or something there might be a small increase in airflow/power. some people like it out but most people i know regret cutting it out. IMO it really sounds shitty - i like the stocker.
