colored STREET and DIRT tires for fiddy's

I seen a post about the interest in colored tires on here for the fiddy's so I wrote them and this is what I got.

his reply to my 1st email:Thanks for your iquiry.

Your idea sounds great, but unfortunately, the volume is far below what
would make it feasable.

The mold in your size is about $6500, plus the time to develop it. Then
where to get the old tires? You probably would have to take a new one a
grind the rubber off. I think there is a small market there, but how many
are going to want to pop the money for the colors?

We do plan a motocross line, but in the larger tires because that is where
the volume is.

We will keep in mind these. How much are the new black tires?

Best regards

Steve

my reply to him:Thanks for your time and effort

I will put up a poll on stuntlife.com about who all would do it!

new blacks in 3.00 x 10 are about $20-30 each but you can find them on ebay for about $25 a set. I myself would be willing to pay $30 a tire for the colored ones, cuz they look sweet.

Keep in mind we are talking about street tires, and there has been a few things brought up about dirt tires as well.

I will keep in touch with you about the poll.

Again thanks for your time and consideration.

Ron Cochran

IF I DID IT RIGHT i WANT A POLL OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD BUY STREET AND WHO WOULD BUY DIRT TIRES

I wouldn't buy dirt tires because, well they would get dirty and defeat the purpose of having colored tires.

yae!! that was my idea!

I would SURE as hell buy a set of red street tires. Hell, i'd buy a couple of sets!

You should ask them if they have the option to change or add sidewall markings on them too.. if they had silver or yellow lettering that said Pimpin 50 or somethign crazy like that, we'd be all OVER these things!

oughta post this over at starboyz fiddy forum, thumpertalk, planet minis, all the other forums

i they will be. I( regular dirtbike tire costs about 80$ each. A set of michilen yellow ones was 260$. These 50 tire will be above $100 easily. http://www.motoworldracing.com/dirtbike-tires.html

that site has mx tires and look around then go to Michelin Starcross Tires (Limited Edition Yellow) and check the price if u dont belive me.
