warning to all Z50R owners

Do NOT buy a D&D pipe for your bike unless you want it to sound like a ******* HARLEY WITH STRAIGHT PIPES!!! This pipe made my bike loud as hell. I dont know if I like it yet, but its definately better then the stock tin can sounding exhaust. Just a heads up, late

Re: warning to all Z50R owners

I bought a Big Gun for $160 and it sounds great but I was comtemplating the D&D at first. I wanted it to be loud but not tacky loud. Now that I have it I sometimes wish it were quieter on our late night sneaky city rides.

Can you post a pic of the D&D pipe? I'd like to look at it.

Check out classic honda. they have a removeable baffle for $16 that should quiet it down a little. Yes, it is for a ultima pipe, but i am sure you could make it work.

I believe the Classic honda pipe and D&D pipe are completely different. One is for the xr/crf and the other is for a Z.

Never saw the big gun or D&D in person, but if they have a round outlet, you could do some custom work to make it fit. Just throwing an idea out there.
