Ok so for xmas I'm askin for a big bar kit. I need everything to make it work. throttle, bars, cables if needed. Everything so I can put it all on and have it work cuz I'm practically stock right now. Whats a decent bar kit I should buy. I'm not looking to spend a ****load, just something to help me out w/ my wheelies. Thanks yall!!!!!!!!!

Man, I have the same problem right now. I said screw it and I am just going to pick up a Red Baron BMX kit from my local dealer. It looks ok. $167 and it uses the stock throttle cable. Comes with a billet throttle tube which is important for me because I am always wrecking when I try new stunts. The brake cable better reach or that will suck. I need to do stoppies.

So try your local dealer. Or look in the stuntlife store. Lots of XR stuff in there.

 

i personally have all fast50s stuff w/ 4-pc bmx bars, but i paid for it all (complete kit = not cheap, but worth it). i'd suggest checking the links section of www.50ccracing.com, they have a ton of aftermarket fiddy sites. don't forget that the red baron throttle is only 1/4 turn, not full throw, so it makes a huge difference compared to stock and it's more difficult to control throttle input. do lots of research that's all i can say, good luck.

potential-I looked at fast50s.com and I didnt know which kit would be the one that had everythign I needed. Can you please tell me which one would do everythign I need it to do.

Bikefrk- I was thinking of the red baron bars. So is it just the bars and the throttle that comes with it. So it fits with the stock cables and ****? thanks to both you guys.

got my kit with tax for 214 from a local dealer, it rocks.....comes with everything including carb top, all cables, throttle twist grips and a new brake lever...

 

I have a brand new BBR Kit that I'm selling for $180. The only thing used is the Bar Clamp and even that is only 2 weeks old. I live in Cali if anyone is interested.

 

Damn,the Red Baron is only a 1/4 turn? Can it be modified? That sucks. Just when you think you have it all figured out. Thanks for the heads up.

the fast50s complete kits have everything you'll need, i like their stuff more than bbr just b/c they have more kit options, they're clamps have two mounting points, and it comes w/ a billet throttle. and no i don't think the 1/4 turn throttle can be modded.
