circles and corners
circles and corners
any tips? i was out riding on the street and i want to be able to take some corners so i don't have to set the tire down. i can get alittle more than 90* then i always want to highside. what am i doing wrong. i also want to start learning big circles in 2nd but have the same problems. come on fiddy pros help me out. thanks
circles in 1st
best i have found to corners and coming out of circles is to slowly bring your *** back to normal seat position while you bring the bars back to center.. remember your engine has to rev higher to maintain the same speed when on the sides of the tire(smaller diameter=more revs) so you technically aren't holding the throttle at the sam espeed when coming back to center. you have to give it a little more to keep the same speed..

The reason it wants to highside or turn the opposite direction after going into a turn is because you arent high enough. learn the point where it wants to start going the opposite direction and anticipate it. Right before it wants to switch directions, bring it a little past the bp and it will fall back into the turn.
ya, i finally got a really big circle, it was huge, i also learned that unlike where i usually sit, way toward the back, they were easiier if you sit more toward the front of the seat for some reason, still can't do a smaller circle though, you guys say first, but is that with the stock sprocket and all?
I find that when I first learnt them, I would drag my feet to get the feel..... Then with feet up, I would use my one foot extende, that would vary the amount of pull that I would have to one side, now just my knee.... I do NOT turn the idle up at all, cause when I crash the bike rips off... LOL>.... So I just practiced major throttle control... Practin 12's without touching in first... Then, circle...
Learn to ride a wheelie for blocks in first nice and smooth. Then as soon as you bring it up cut it into the circle. It took me a while to get them. Practice practice practice. I'm happy if I get one and a half now. The most ever was 2 in a row.
Practice!!!!
Practice!!!!
Yeah, I hear ya there.... It is all about the control and then.... I think that the most I have done is MAYBE 2, but, I can do quite a few if I drag my inside foot... LOL... (That is cheatin I know) But with a little phot shop, you can never tell... LOL
yeah like LB3 said, you need to get that front wheel higher when you go into a turn. I can take turns, 1st,2nd or 3rd. Its just a matter of finding the right speed, the right height on the front wheel and working the brake correctly. Keep practicing I remember being stuck like that for a while till finally you get a kick in the *** and figure it out.
I just started sticking circles this week and they came from nowhere! Just all of a sudden after months of trying and giving up I got them. My best so far is 2 3/4. I want to be able to hit 5 (for now) but after about half our of trying them I start to get way dizzy!!
when you make turn, i find it easier if i till the bars away from the turn, to lean the bike on the outside of the tire and make the turn then straighten it up and continue wheeling, cant do circles doe
