1394 Firewire driver

I bought a firewire(1394) pci card for my old decrepid PentiumII 350, while installing my new card I discovered that not only was one of my 64k blocks of memory no longer functioning, but also that windows 98 doesn't support 1394..... I was able to find a driver that works with windows98se...... can anyone out there help me update my windows 98 so that I can capture some decent video from my new Sony Trv39 minidv..... also how do you guys put you names on your photos that you post? (photoshop? how to?)

Best advice I can give you is drop some cash on a new pc. How are you even able to get on the internet with that thing?

I built this computer myself in 1999, it has worked well so far....its more than enough computer to surf the net, just not enough for high quality digital video capturing.......if you would like to purchase a new computer for me than be my guest..... if you take the time to think about it you would realize that I have recently spent butt loads of cash $1000 Sony Trv 39 with accessories, new 2003 XR 50 (2.5 months ),Tag mx bars, Red Barron mx bar clamp, skidplate, ext. folding shifter, fast 50 fat seat foam and cover. Not to mention that I dont live at home with my mommy , so theres a morgage(very big morgage), 2 car payments, food, utilities, cable cellphones..... the list goes on and on....... when you have a wife and family of your own you'll understand...So when can I expect my Xmas gift of a new G4 mac laptop, with 512K ddr ram? THOUGHT NOT!

I am in the same boat you are man. Also don't live with mommy and have multiple payments to make. But I built a new tower for myself that screams for about $600 after looking around for the right parts. Pretty sure you could do the same or even better if you really searched for the parts.

$600 built mine also. Plays **** for days. Fast as a mother. Now I just need some big bars and a street bike and on and f'in on...

I could make a million a year and it still wouldn't be enough.

I ran a PII 400mhz on 256megs of RAM with Windows XP Pro with no problems. I also did several of my videos on that PC as well. Sure rendering took forever, but ask nags, he has my ol 400 now.
