Exhaust gasket

Is there such a thing between the head and the headpipe?
I have a 04 crf50f
I noticed in a parts diagram for a z-50 there was a "doughnut" mentioned.
Anyway any help would be appreciated.

Could it come out on it's own or does it need to be removed.
I'm asking because I didn't notice anything seperate in the exhaust port.
thanks.
