some questions (Missouri 50 riders?)

I'm thinking about getting a 50 and i was wondering how easy these things are to wheelie. Can u ride wheelies real long on em? On my ninja 250 i can only ride wheelies for like 50 ft. Also, do u guys think i should get a 50 or a 600? I can almost afford a used 600, but im thinkin about gettin an xr50 instead. I cant decide.

One more thing....Have any of you ever registered an xr50 as a moped in MISSOURI? Also, if it's registered as a moped and u get in trouble w/ the cops on it, does that count for your drivers or motorcycle license so your insurance will go up?
thanks

the missouri statutes state that anything under 50cc is considered a motorized bicycle. which is street legal and you do not have to wear a helmet. dont ride on the highway thats not legal. it also states that the maximum ticket is like 25 bucks. the bad thing is most cops and some judges dont know these laws, so they write me tickets some times but i bring in my statutes and they are thrown out, and the cop is always there because it is a trial and he always looks like a dousche bag. lets see what else, i would make a copy of the laws to show cops they will get pissed though. they will ticket you for wheelies also. look up "missouri statutes" on yahoo

If you are torn between a 600 and a 50 then you have problems.

You can wheelie a 50 for a mile or more but I can only do about a block.

thanks guys

One more thing, do u have to take it somewhere to get it inspected to get a sticker or something?

Whats so wrong about wanting a 50 and a 600? They would both be fun. Lots of people have both.
