Rear brake problems

Whenever I try to hit my rear brake it doesn't work as well as it used to. It just seems very weak. Any ideas how to make it better? I don't really want to buy a better one because I don't want to put alot of money into it.

ftrain is a decent person
There is a nut on the back brake where it attaches to the tire. Screw it in a little further.

brake

Its probably a little glazed. Take your rear tire/hub off. Scuff the pads and the inside of the hub with rough sandpaper to get all the glazeing off. You should be all set....unless you need new pads.
