dude, 800 for a used z50 seems like alot of money. i have both and i think the xr is more maneuverable. the z50s are too wide. the z does have bigger bars stock if you arent planning on putting any money into it. but a fixed up xr is the setup.

I would rather have the wide seat, then have that lil xr seat.....xr seat is way more uncomfortable for me..... of course I'm 6'7" 240 lbs...

I wouldnt mind having a Z50.....but you have to look at all the aftermarket parts for the XR.....

Just get an aftermarket tall seat & gripper cover. Makes it easier to ride too, as your legs aren't as scrunched up. I'm 5'11" 230 lbs BTW, and it's comfy for me.

Like I said, stock for stock the Z is more comfy. But put a few goodies on the XR and it's just as comfy as the Z and more capable. And of course the sky is the limit as far as mods go for the XRs.

Yea the nice old z seats are a couch, but the 90s are freackin a inch tall and stiffer than a mx bike seat. not forgiving, but i like the xr100 seat, nice and soft, but that me. My sisters 76 xr75 isthe best trail bike setup, i love that thing cept it handles for ****.

see i like the Z much better than the XR. i went on an Xr and crashed the thing, i went on an Z and learned to wheelie the thing. i feel more comfortable learning with the Z, then i could always move up to an Xr. maybe thats just me???????

i love my XR.. its wicked compared to a Z.. i also have a Z and don't like it much.. it weighs a ton.. you can do much more on the xr then the z, i think the only thing its good for is crusing streets and wheelies..
