I already tried searching for this and found nothing usefull so that needs to be said before I get lit up.

Anybody make a round bar for a fifty?

 

good idea. half the scars on my legs are from the 50 scrape bar

 

I took mine off for the same reason.

 

make your own.. be the first..... then you can produce them for the 50 riders..... then you would have some extra cash....and you would be like omr.....

i looked it up too and didn't find anything.. there has to be someone that makes em... good luck man

 

It would be cool, however I have no access to a machine shop and don't have the tool to bend the bar properly.

I'm sure lots of peeps have already asked Ryan Moore but I guess it's worth a shot.

it only HAS to be the same length as the fender. Longer would be nice to put the foot in though. I might make one tonight if I have time.

chino is about a third of the way to your house from me lol. i see him a lot in when the weathers good, but not at all when theres snow.

 

If you can scrape fender on a fiddy without wrecking I bow to you.

 

Mine (Alies) wont come off the bar anyway until it slows down enough for the clutch to disengage. Ive only ridden maybe 5 of them in my life, and the only one that would actually come off the bar easily had a disk brake with a streetbike handbrake.

 

I just want the round bar for looks and so it stops chewing up my leg.

I think he's looking for something more like this. Im not sure what size tubing he used, i found this in the "pictures of your 50" thread. Dude said he straightened out the subframe a little, bent this tube up and beat it on. Its not welded or clamped and it doesn't budge. As soon as i can get to lowes im gunna find the right size tubing, get an at home pipe bender and give it a shot. When i take the frame to get powder coated im gunna have them weld it on and coat it all at the same time!! I've been looking for tha same thing for ever and stumbled on this picture, only one i have ever seen like this....and thats how i wanted mine to look!!

Yep. That's what I want. It would be ok if it stuck out more in the back but not too much. I think I'm gonna have to break out the torch and make it myself.

 

Yeah, i haven't decided if i want it out a little past the fender or not. If i can get the bend right i'll mess with it some and see what i like best. Keep us posted it you get it done
