Counter Sprocket Wobble?

When I pulled my cover off to get engine off the frame, I noticed my counter sprocket being wobbly...

Is this typical for one or do I need to tighten it?

Thanks!

Re: Counter Sprocket Wobble?

wobble out of anything that is bolted on is not normal at all.

Thanks for the quick reply. Didn't figure, busa's front sprocket doesn't wobble. lol.

Any idea if those bolts that are 180deg apart on the sprocket are what needs to be tightened? Seems like they maybe or counter weights, I got no clue. Never seen bolts like that before.

No, this is wrong. The front sprocket is a floating sprocket and is supposed to have some wiggle in it. It keeps the teeth of the sprocket in contact with the chain while it is in motion. Do not change a thing. Read for yourself.... http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/arc.../t-447995.html
