WHAT? Did that work? As far as I know with most master cylinders, that can't work. If you run a double banjo and the foot master, the upper master will just pressurize the footmaster's resi, unless the foot master is in use, and therefore closed to the resi.

In order to run two master's with a single caliper, you have to connect the handbrake master the the foot master's resi port. There are adapters to do this, or you could maybe drill out the nipple and tap it for a banjo bolt.

Re: rear hand brake for discs

my roomate just bought a cheapo rear brake setup from pccmotor.com ,it came w a master cylinder and caliper ,but the thing that was cool about it is it had the honda style rear master so the honda gp tech adapter i have fits it perfect .plus the brake setup was only 50 bucks for xr/crf50

Re: rear hand brake for discs

http://www.pccmotor.com/rear-brake-a...rf50-5012.html

thats the break setup.it has a teardrop shaped resivior input, the same as a stock honda motorcycle.there are many ways to tap into the master cylinder, the GP TECH honda handbrake adapter has the same shape design
http://www.gptechllc.com/handbrake.html
the link above is to show the junction valve only

the master cylinder has a valve that attaches a fluid rez. you replace the stock valve with a gp tech stunt adapter.then run a line up to a handmaster cylinder

okay guys heres a few pics the top pic is the rear brake setup installd on my boys 110 pit bike..notice the teardrop shaped inlet valve for the fluid rezivior.... well the picture u see is the setup i mentioned.its from pccmotor.com its a master cylinder and a caliper pre primed $50 shipped

now..this is a picture of the honda master cylinder on my f4i with the same design teardrop shape inlet..in the bottom pic look at the GP TECH handbrake adapter.it goes on the master cylinder and allows u to run a line off it up to your hand master on your bars, the adapter is like $60 and then youll need the ss brakeline and a handmaster cylinder.(one w a resivior on a hose so u can put the bottle out of the way

hopefully this helps
