Installing grips, use glue?

Title pretty much says it all. I got a ProTaper kit and fixing to put on the grips and it says to use glue yet there's none included. Do I need to get some from my Honda shop tomorrow?

Thanks!

nah dude use spray paint the best **** ever just spray some inside your grips and put em on sometimes its alittle harder to put them on but then throw two zip ties or tie wire and let it sit for a couple hours then youll be set and if you ever need to take them off for whatever reason or replace them just spray a squirt or two of brake cleaner / carb cleaner and twist and they come right off

Same here man.. Haha I was getting ready to post up. SP works great because it drys like glue but it is still able to be removed when needed.

BEST way to remove and install. Sometimes you have grip twist when not using something to "glue" the grips on with.

But use spraypaint to put them on, and when you need to remove them use an air compressor.

Re: Installing grips, use glue?

My grips pull off if i just twist them off . It takes a little while but it works . Same with going on , just twist them on and push .

I wouldn't glue them on or use anything that acts like a glue If they are super tight going on use a little grease off your chain or something

Re: Installing grips, use glue?

I just spit on the clipon and twist the grips on. Dries pretty quick. I'm going to try the spraypaint method next time.

Also added some end caps to the old holes there with some adhesive. Don't know why but the openings bothered me.

+1 on the air compressor. Nothing extra needed.

Should there be any other way?!? Plus they stay there too... Also cool to watch the big screen and work at the same time no matter what the temp outside is!
