Re: Need some help on a xr50

If you are talking about the hose that comes from the top of the engine case ( in the back , on top ) , this hose goes to the stock air filter box . Since you have a foam filter , or none at all , it has nowhere to go except hang down .

Re: Need some help on a xr50

If you dropped the bike on the handle bar throttle , it might have knocked the assembly inward .

Loosen the assembly and pull it a little off the bar to see if it will free up the sticky throttle .

Re: Need some help on a xr50

Why would you give back a really nice bike with all the money in it for a stock 50 ?

Learn throttle control . Problem solved .

If you have one of them 1/4 turn throttles on there , you could change that too.

Re: Need some help on a xr50

My fiddy came with an 88cc kit on it and I managed just fine. It's all about seat time. You'll get used to it and, in the end, the extra power will be a blessing in disguise.

Re: Need some help on a xr50

get smaller sprockits in the rear....the cheapest/easiest fix. It will give you more top speed but "lower your torque" thats in quotes because it doesnt lower the torque of the motor
