throttle cable

ok i just got my xr 50. it has big bar kit and everything. ive broke 2 throttle cables in 1 wk.... no clue y everything is right i think.. it was set up b4 i got it. ne1 else have this problem??
and im thinking bout getting a hole new setup is there ne real benifits 2 the billet vs plastic?? bside the price.
ne info on this would help alot thanks

Well it should go without saying but if you have big bars you need a longer throttle cable. Stock may work until you turn the bars hard but then will snap.

Billet vs. Plastic. id go with billet! i had the one that came with my pro taper bars and when i crashed it cracked. now i have the billet 1 from 50stunt and its so smooth and looks dope! its a 1/4 turn and is just so smooth, i was expecting it to need to be oiled or greesed constantly, but ive done it once when i put it on and it has stayed, i probably will again after i put my bike back together

i think i just need all new stuff

Well if you already have an extended cable I agree. I have never broken a throttle cable riding hard so I thought maybe yours was too short. If it's old and crusty...that'd do it too I suppose.
