Ya you have a 72cc kit. so the carb isn't stock because the where the air filter is now isn't where it is stock. And teh gold cover is just a cover.

Re: Noob With a XR50....

nice! yeah I kinda thought the carb wasn't stock when I seen pictures of qwik gixxer's bike. Why does this bike still smoke my friends 125?

And the air filter was under that gas tank I just swiveled it out to make it look different.

Re: Noob With a XR50....

Can someone upload an exploded view of the stock front suspension?

My front wheel turns left when I press the brake.

Re: Noob With a XR50....

The gold piece on the head is a breather .

Your bike has a fullbore body kit http://www.fullboreinnovations.com/page4/ . You should call them and find out what came with it . Probably the plastics , seat and bar kit .

Powroll sells fiddy parts . Looks like you have their carb kit . http://www.powroll.com/P_HONDA_XR50.htm One thing about Powroll is that they sell a bore kit that requires you to get a xr70 cylinder on your own . If i'm not mistaken , an xr70 is actually a 72cc cylinder. So your bike could possibly have a stock honda xr 70 cylinder with a Powroll 82cc kit . Maybe he bought the Powroll cam too , i don't know . Hell , the guy could have gone all out with the stroker too , who knows . But he did spend some of money on all the extra bits .

I'm gonna say that you have +1 or longer fork legs and/or different front springs cause your gaurds are lower than the seals . Also look at the rear shock and see what color the spring is . I'm pretty sure all stock rear shocks have black springs . Or even post a pic of the shock so we can see it . If the guy before you did the front end , i'm sure he did the rear shock or rear spring change too .

The exhaust doesn't look stock because that front pipe looks way to thick , but it looks like the stock muffler with a powroll tip . Does the front pipe look like it's been custom welded to the stock muffler ?

If the wheel axle and bars and triple clamp are tight , i would say your turning wheel problem is inside the forks either bad bushings or the pin for the top of the spring is broke or not seated right

Re: Noob With a XR50....

holy crap your smart!

is there a way I could see if it has a Powroll 82cc kit? and stroker cam?

The rear shock is red.

this looks alot like my bike! its crazy how close it looks to mine! even to the air cleaner and adapter. Those plastics are $229 and the chrome gas tank cover is $89 DANG!!!!

I took it to a local honda dealership and they looked at it and they said that they think its the bushings. how would I go about doing this my self? I don't wanna pay them almost $180 to replace them....

Thanks Crazy D your the man!
