50stunt craftsmanship is next to perfect. You can come in here and bash the company all you want. Those of us that know better, will just sit back and laugh at you...=-)

PS: If you can blaim 50stunt handbrake set-up for not stopping. Then that means i can blaim my keyboard on mispelled words....=-)

+ on that...the HB kit is ONLY as good as your current pads/drum/arm linkage etc...dont be coming on here bashing on an established company that supports stuntingit makes you look foolishso get your poop in a group and go give your rear brake system some good ole lovin

 

Post number 6 in this thread stated that I am not bashing or pointing blame towards the product. If I were, I would have taken it off and tossed it. I could have worded the thread a little better, yes, but I covered the point that I am not bashing the product. Just saying my handbrake sucks for one reason or another, any advice. The product is a 50 stunt hb.

Sent you a PM Neosporin, Hit me up im in Gville. My HB sucks too. I have the ebay style not the 50 stunt. Most the time if i fall past balance the HB just slows me down till I loop it. Im going to try new shoes, a 50stunt extended arm and some asv levers in hope I get some more bite of out it.

 

yo check it out. its all about leverage i hand made my break arm an its about a half inch taller than 50stunt one. it makes all the difference in the word!! my **** locks up harder than my foot break.

 

why dont u just call Ryan at 50 Stunt and explain whats going on.....thats his business...everyday he works on 50 parts...am sure he will help you out np

 

It's a mix of rear brake and hb adjustment on the bolts/nuts that hold them on.

It's just trial and error and personal preference.

my bud has the exact same setup as me and his brake feels way different and a little more sloppy. That's his opinion on how he likes his brake . Just mess with it till you get it where you want it .

also take the other opionions into consideration abou tthe brake shoes and such.

 

dude ,jack up your bike on a milk crate or bike stand or sumthing and start it up,make sure your cable adjuster on the lever is all the way in so you can tighten it up as much as you need to,wen its in gear you adjust the cable where it attaches to the break arm untill the wheel stops,but make sure you dont tighten it up to the point where it restricts the wheel from rolling,it takes some time to play with it and try different adjustments
