I dont know... my Z50 has been clocked at 34mph on flat ground in my neighboorhood. It's COMPLETLEY stock
I gave the bike to a guy at a party that weighed about a buck 30. He came back after a little while from riding it with that speed on the gps. Probably was down a hill.
I have gotten 38mph out of it on flat ground. You have to hold it for a while though. I weigh 150 lbs.

i dunno about some of these speeds bit i got the kitaco 88cc kit, 20 ml carb, race cam, heavy duty cluth springs, cdi rev-box, and the oil pump, with 2 teeth UP in the front with the stock rear and i weigh 147 pounds soakin wet, and only hit 40mph. So i dunno maybee im goin faster or someones GPS is off.

if you're only doin' 40.. something's wrong
no way, in our crew we got about 8 fifties that ride together some stock and some all done up. i got the fastest fifty by far and i just keep pullin away from them. And i can't see that the people at honda messed up and told me that i had the fastest fifty they did with the same **** in it. I dunno what the story is maybee is should re-clock.
88cc kits
The 88cc stroker kit combined with a stock cylinder head just makes gobs of lowend torque. The 88cc kit doesn't help the "top speed" as much as you'd think....but if you upgrade to a high flow Cylinder head you'll gain alot of HP in the upper rpm's and you'll go alot faster. The stock cylinder head is a real cork in the system.
Changing the sprocket didn't seem to help make a big difference in top speed either. I went from a 39 tooth to a 34 tooth and it only gained 2mph.
