Brembo hand brake on a 50? ... oh yes!

KK, my friend finished up the fabrication to fit a hydrualic rear disc brake set up on a stock honda crf 50 and I must say this brake is SICK! Finaly I have a working rear brake! I only rode it for 5 minutes but I already got the feel of it and was doing nice tight O's.

As it turns out he put an old *** brembo rear brake on my bike..It was way to long so we mounted it damn close to the risers then heated up the lever and bent it accordingly. You will look at it and say "WTF is that poo" but this works and feels frigin tight! perfect position for my index finger at all times...

Its still not 100% done but it works and I am happy with it. Im putting on a hand/control guard so I dont smash my master then put back on the handle grip and im good to go!

Heres some pics.

disc is cool, but no foot brake is kinda wack. I couldn't ride without the foot brake, handbrake combo.

Running a hand brake only was an experiment at first. I did not want to have to get that tab welded to the foot brake master to run 2 brake lines. I got to say though I dont mind it at all....Yes I still go for the foot brake, and it feels wierd without it but I really just don't need it with this hand brake being so strong.
Besides I can't think of any tricks that I am hindered by not having a foot brake?
