Re: Another question!!!!!
Most people don't have extended swingarms for the street . There are reasons why . I really don't think there will be a problem with the chain rubbing . It is made like that . You can probably buy the plastic piece when you thinnk it's gona almost rub thru .
For the chain being loose . I wouldn't reccomend making it too tight . You could probably take out a little slack .
The swingarm is still going to want to travel it's furthest downward when the back wheel is off the ground . And also if you jump , when the back end squats , when you land , you need the extra chain slack . I know you won't be in the dirt , i'm just trying to explain why you run a chain like that .
Some people (on their stock fiddys) make their chain somewhat tight for better throttle response .
With your loose chain , you are going to get the exact opposite feeling .

As others have stated, it's the extended swingarm needing the extra slack. Now, being that your triple clamp had slop in it when you got the bike, I'd say the previous owner was a jumper and not a bike maintainer. That being said, there's a good probability the chain is stretched as well without maintenance. Snug it up a bit but not tight. Good rule of thumb is 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch up and down play when moved by fingers.
Snug up a bit and check to see if it will roll off of the rear sprocket when putting side pressure on chain. If not, you should be ok.
If you're not going to jump it. Get the chain as snug as you can get away with for street stunting because chain and or suspension slop equals throttle fluctuation.

Re: Another question!!!!!
extended swingarms suckass for stunting.my buddy has a dirt 50 with a similar swing and had to get a chain guide(?i think?) its like a spring loaded thing that keeps consistant pressure on the chain.
Re: Another question!!!!!
With the extended swimgarm the balance point is going to be fuxin recockuless. Fiddy doesnt have alot of power to begin with. So it takes practice to get the stock Fiddy up to a good BP. I can image what its gonna take to get that extanded one up.....=-)
