Stand ups

Hi all. I got my fiddy back in Feb this year, so far have sussed 1st and 2nd gear wheely's. Just moved on to rear peg stand ups. The b/p feals good about 11 o'clock, but at this point the chain goes slack then tightens. It's a wierd feeling that freaks me out. Then chain is new and stopped stretching, the slack is just under 1".

Any idea's or do I just have to live with it?

Re: Stand ups

Take that slack down to about 1/2 total, its probly just a little loose. Also check your swingarm bolt, it could have come loose too, the main one that goes throught the frame and hold the swingarm on.

Re: Stand ups

yea i would tighten the chain and make sure everything is nice and snugg too sometimes dancing on those peggs can cause things to wiggle loose a lil quicker.

Re: Stand ups

Mechanicaly sorted now. I have been practising **** loads, what worked was throtte controll, what was happening was giving to much gas then loads of h/b. Since the chain was a bit slack the seesaw affect seemed to be amplifying the chain slap.

Anyways I is waffling! Thanx for advice guys.
